From: ABC News: Tape Released: American Al Qaeda Member Warns of Attacks: "Sept. 12, 2005 — In an apparent Sept. 11 communiqu�broadcast on ABC News, an al Qaeda operative threatens new attacks against cities in the U.S. and Australia.

'Yesterday, London and Madrid. Tomorrow, Los Angeles and Melbourne, Allah willing. And this time, don't count on us demonstrating restraint or compassion,' the tape warns. 'We are Muslims. We love peace, but peace on our terms, peace as laid down by Islam, not the so-called peace of occupiers and dictators.'

American intelligence officials believe the man who appears on the tape to be Adam Gadahn of Orange County, Calif. Last year, Gadahn delivered a similar taped communiqué for al Qaeda. That tape was later deemed authentic.

On the new tape, delivered to ABC News in Pakistan on Saturday, Gadahn's message contains a very pointed al Qaeda threat against Los Angeles and Melbourne. U.S. intelligence officials are closely studying the tape, looking for clues that might lead them to the man who made it. One clue ABC heard on the tape was the sound of many children in a hallway.

This morning, Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton acknowledged his city is a target for terrorists

"We're the entertainment capital of America," Bratton said. "All the negative images of America that these people hate are represented here in Los Angeles. ..."


Yeah right, "peace on our terms", like when every non-Muslim who chooses to remain non-Muslim is a 2nd class citizen whose required to pay a poll tax ("protection") to an Islamic central government.

Time will tell, it sure smells. From 1010 WINS: Jetliner Returns To Newark After Haze In Cabin: "Sep 12, 2005 6:43 am US/Eastern

(1010 WINS) NEWARK, N.J. Officials aren't sure what caused haze to fill part of the cabin of an American Airlines jetliner soon after taking off from Newark Liberty International Airport.

Flight 1147, with 109 passengers aboard, had departed for Chicago when flight attendants noticed the problem yesterday.

The aircraft turned back and landed safely at Newark. ..."


I haven't seen anything else about this yet, I'll have to poke around and keep an eye out.

BAGHDAD, Sept. 5 -- Fighters loyal to militant leader Abu Musab Zarqawi asserted control over the key Iraqi border town of Qaim on Monday, killing U.S. collaborators and enforcing strict Islamic law, according to tribal members, officials, residents and others in the town and nearby villages.

Residents said the foreign-led fighters controlled by Zarqawi, a Jordanian, apparently had been exerting authority in the town, within two miles of the Syrian border, since at least the start of the weekend. A sign posted at an entrance to the town declared, 'Welcome to the Islamic Republic of Qaim. ...'"


The US must squash this nonsense real quick. This must not be allowed to continue. Period!
