How Many Times Can They Kill This Guy?

Guardian Unlimited | Special reports | US governor reprieves man facing 1,000th execution:

"A convicted killer due to become the 1,000th prisoner to be executed in the US since the reinstatement of the death penalty in 1976 was reprieved last night when the governor of Virginia commuted his sentence to life in prison.

Robin Lovitt, 42, found guilty of fatally stabbing a pool hall worker with scissors during a botched robbery, had been due to die by lethal injection at the Greenville correctional centre in Virginia today. ..."

Maybe this guy didn't do it. If it's ever proven that he's innocent, the State of Virginia can let him out, give him $5 Million and say they're sorry.

If they had killed him, there would have probably been less effort to try to prove him innocent, and maybe even more reason to try to suppress any new evidence in his favor.

If he still was found innocent eventually, how would the State of Virginia "apologise" then?

South Park Skewers Scientology & Tom Cruise...They Might Sue!

This week's South Park Episode really rocks the boats of Scientology and Tom Cruise.
Cartman is claimed by the Scientologist BIGwigs to be the reincarnation of their founder and spiritual mastermind, L. Ron Hubbard, author of Dianetics.

Celebrity scientologist Tom Cruise gets a lukewarm greeting from Cartman so he's devestated because he believes that his Idol's reincarnation doesn't think highly of his acting abilities.

So he runs and hides in a closet and won't come out.

No one can persuade Tom to "Come out of the closet!", not xwife Nicole Kidman, fellow Scientologist John Travolta nor "alleged" pedophile pop star
R. Kelly.

The Bigwigs convince Cartman to write down whatever thoughts pop into his head so they can sell his writings to his followers and make millions.

The Chief BIGwig explains the mystery of our existence to Cartman just like this part from Answers.com, but of course a great cartoon goes along with it:

"Xenu, the evil intergalactic ruler who implanted "thetans" or alien spirits, in earth's volcanoes 75 million years ago, after which they escaped and invaded human bodies. The ultimate belief of Scientology is that you are possessed by the spirits of aliens murdered 75 million years ago by "Xenu" and you have to exorcise these spirits."

Of course he doesn't tell him that only "those that reach the higher teachings (OT III) within the Church of Scientology will learn all about" this, and that "the cost of reaching OT III approaches $360,000."

Finally, they put Cartman out in front of a crowd of fawning devotees thinking he will spout the party line and and get the crowd to pony up big bucks for the reincarnated Messiah's deep thoughts.

Instead, Cartman proceeds to tell the crowd that Scientology is a HUGE worldwide SCAM!

The BIGwigs all strt freaking out and screaming that they will sue Cartman for calling their "religion a scam".

This finally brings Tom Cruise out of the closet screaming that he too will sue Cartman.

The show ends with Cartman screaming back: "Go ahead! SUE ME! SUE ME!" while standing on the stage above a huge "SCIENTOLOGY" sign.

LOLOLOLOLOL....

The Church of Scientology and their massive legal resources have sued many into submission.

It will be interesting to see if they choose to go up against the South Park team, Comedy Central and the ultimate media behemoth Viacom.

OUTRAGE!!! Paris' Killer Looting Rioters Called SCUM! That's Not Fair! Whaaaa...

VOA News - France's Chirac Calls for Calm Following Riots:
By Lisa Bryant
Paris
02 November 2005

"French President Jacques Chirac appealed for calm Wednesday following six straight nights of rioting in the low-income suburbs around Paris.

The clashes began after two teenage boys were accidentally electrocuted last Thursday, as they tried to scale a wall in the gritty Paris suburb of Clichy-Sous-Bois. A public prosecutor said the boys thought they were being chased by police. Police denied they had been pursuing them.

Either way, the incident has triggered nightly riots between largely ethnic-Muslim youths and police. The unrest has spread to other low-income housing projects around Paris which have large, ethnic-North African Muslim communities.

France's Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy has responded with a firmness that has sparked criticism from both the leftist opposition and from members of his own center-right party. In particular, Mr. Sarkozy used the word scum to describe the rioters, and this has been particularly controversial.

Francois Hollande, who leads the opposition Socialist Party, told reporters Wednesday that such remarks were inappropriate.

Mr. Holland said that Mr. Sarkozy should not have stigmatized an entire population of ethnic immigrants with his slights.

Now the French government is striking a more conciliatory tone. After remaining silent for almost a week, President Chirac called for firmness in dealing with the rioters, but also for dialogue and respect. He also demanded an inquiry into the Thursday deaths for the two youths.

Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin, a political rival of Mr. Sarkozy, echoed a similar message of justice and firmness. He promised concrete responses to unemployment and other problems facing communities like Clichy-sur-Bois in the coming weeks.

But experts like Dominique Sopo, head of the anti-discrimination group SOS Racism, says words are not enough.

What's needed Mr. Sopo says, are better programs to integrate second and third-generation ethnic immigrant youths into mainstream French society. Mr. Sopo and other analysts also fear the current violence may lead to greater popular support for the far-right National Front party. The party's leader, Jean-Marie Le Pen, placed second in the last presidential elections, in 2002."

Oh wow, amazing! Killing, rioting, looting, car-burning scumbags are called "scum" by Sarkosy. How dare he! That's way too harsh! That's much worse than what the "scum" are actually doing!

What should he call them? Monkees? Savage killing monkees? Barbarian pieces of sheet?

Little bad boys? Silly kids? Little French schoolboys?

Calling them "scum" justifies what they are doing, it makes it ok that they are burning hundreds of cars and buses and buildings.

Calling them "scum" makes the name caller just as bad as the burning, looting, killing scum themselves.

What a load of insincere tolerance crap! Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy didn't call ALL muslim immigrants "scum", he just called rioting, killing, looting, molotov cocktail throwing, handicapped person burning pieces of human garbage scum "scum".

I think he was too gentle with them, too nice , too polite. Ooooo...SCUM, oh my! The outrage!

They're not just "scum", they're "Monkee Scum Pieces of Shit!.

And they should be told that if they don't disperse in 24 hours the army will start gunning them down in masse.

That's what this "SCUM" deserve.

Youngest Terrorism Expert: FrontPage Interview with Ryan Mauro

Everybody should read what this extroardinary young man Ryan Mauro has to say, please spread the word to others...

FrontPage magazine.com :: Secrets of Terror by Jamie Glazov: "Ryan Mauro"

By Jamie Glazov
FrontPageMagazine.com | October 20, 2005

"Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Ryan Mauro, the 19-year-old author of Death to America: The Unreported Battle of Iraq and the youngest hired geopolitical analyst in the country. He is a volunteer analyst for Tactical Defense Concepts and Northeast Intelligence Network and is the owner of WorldThreats.com. He will be speaking at the 2006 Intelligence Summit on his work in open-source intelligence.

FP: Ryan Mauro, welcome to Frontpage Interview.

Mauro: Thank you for having me.

FP: You are quite a young fellow. It is quite exceptional for a 19-year-old to be an expert in geopolitical affairs. What got you involved in your work?

Mauro: Due to a visual disability of mine, I couldn't play sports as a kid. So with my time I read a lot and then around age 11 or 12, I got my first computer, which was around the time of the bombing of Iraq in December 1998. It started my interest in geopolitical affairs, even though my parents were not political. I can remember in 2000 not knowing the candidates involved in the race, but knowing the locations of all the Middle Eastern countries.

FP: I want to talk to you today about what your sources reveal about the Saddam-Al Qaeda connection, WMDs in Iraq under Saddam, and the Syrian-Iranian connection to the terrorism in Iraq. But first, let’s talk about the referendum in Iraq the other day and the high-voter turnout. This is quite a devastating blow to the terrorists isn’t it?

Mauro: This is a disaster for the terrorists. Lots of critics in the mainstream media pointed to the delays in writing the constitution and bickering, but no where else in the Arab world can such bickering occur. And you can bet that the Iraqis and the region as a whole noticed that. ..."

Now go read the rest of the interview, and remember the name: Ryan Mauro.

2,250 + Scumbags Deserve To Die! U.N. to Detail Kickbacks Paid for Iraq's Oil - New York Times

U.N. to Detail Kickbacks Paid for Iraq's Oil - New York Times:

"By WARREN HOGE
Published: October 27, 2005

UNITED NATIONS, Oct. 26 - More than 4,500 companies took part in the United Nations oil-for-food program and more than half of them paid illegal surcharges and kickbacks to Saddam Hussein, according to the independent committee investigating the program.

The country with the most companies involved in the program was Russia, followed by France, the committee says in a report to be released Thursday. The inquiry was led by Paul A. Volcker, former chairman of the Federal Reserve Board."

"The findings are in the committee's fifth and final report, a document of more than 500 pages that will detail how outside companies from more than 60 countries were able to evade United Nations controls and make money for themselves as well as for the Hussein government.

Three investigators who described their findings in interviews declined to name the companies, though they said the companies would be identified in the document on Thursday. They refused to speak on the record about the report until it is released.

The new report studies the people outside Iraq who profited illicitly and how they did it. It will identify companies and individuals who took part, both deliberately and inadvertently, and will chronicle in detail the experience of 30 to 40 of them, the investigators said. ..."

Russia and France! What a surprise!

Hopefully these dirtball oil trading monkees will get more than a wittle slap on da wrist. But I bet they won't.

Let's hope they get their due from the "Justice" system. If not, we can only hope and pray that these 2251+ pigs are chosen for pain & death by some vicious raping muggers, killer gangs, serial killers, rabid dogs, diving swarms of angry birds, and ravenous red ants; or by those they have inadvertantly helped and fostered: Radical Islamist Terrorist Monkee Pieces of Shit.

Mobile Tanka Poets of Tokyo Spreading the Words...

Cellphone poets of Tokyo marry tech and tanka

Tuesday, October 04, 2005
By Phred Dvorak, The Wall Street Journal

TOKYO -- For years, Ayano Iida used email on her cellphone mainly to tap out quick messages to friends like "Let's get together tomorrow."

But these days, Ms. Iida's mobile is spouting out heartfelt verse like this: "The guy who I liked/second-best, was second-rate/in the school that he/went to; and also in his/performance between the sheets."

Ms. Iida, 26 years old, is one of a growing number of young Japanese using mobile phones to write and exchange tanka, an ancient form of unrhymed poetry whose roots reach back at least 1,300 years. Scores of tanka home pages and bulletin boards are popping up on cellphone Internet sites with names like Palm-of-the-Hand Tanka and Teenage Tanka. Japan's national public broadcaster airs a weekly show called "Saturday Night Is Cellphone Tanka," which gets about 3,000 poems emailed from listeners' mobiles each week on topics like parental nagging and the boy in the next class.

The marriage of tanka and cellphones is all the more unexpected because tanka is so bound up with Japanese tradition. Tanka, literally "short song," is thought to have first emerged around the eighth century. It is composed of 31 syllables arranged in a rigid, five-line pattern of 5-7-5-7-7. It's big on archaic words and has long been associated with high culture.

Courtiers of the 10th century exchanged love letters in tanka form, and the imperial family still pens tanka at the start of each year on topics like "happiness" and "spring." Tanka are often used to commemorate pivotal moments like death: Japanese novelist Yukio Mishima wrote two tanka before he slit his belly in ritual suicide in 1970.

But young Japanese say tanka is surprisingly suited to the cellphone. It's short enough to fit on little mobile screens, and simple enough to let young poets whip out bits of verse whenever the spirit moves them. In many ways, tanka is similar to the kind of terse, sparse messages Japanese kids have tapped out on their handsets for years -- especially in the early days of the cellphone when just a small number of characters could be crammed into one email.

"The rhythm and the length of tanka make it exactly the right vessel for what I want to say," says Ms. Iida, an ebullient woman in red-framed glasses who works nights at a bookstore in the city of Tochigi, a few hours north of Tokyo.

The new, freewheeling wave of poetry on cellphones is roiling the traditional, hierarchical tanka world. There, budding writers spend years of apprenticeship in poetry societies called kessha, under the guidance of a master poet. Many labor for 10 or 20 years before the master decides they're good enough to put out their own poetry collections.

Traditionalists frown on cellphone tanka's liberal use of slang and colloquial Japanese. They say the topics are frivolous and the writing shallow and one-dimensional. Some even take issue with the way tanka is displayed on a handset: horizontally to fit the screen rather than vertically as in traditional Japanese writing.

"Almost all of the cellphone poems are stuff I'd never call 'tanka,' " says Tokio Ishii, an 80-year-old former paper-company employee who is a ranking member of Shin Araragi, or New Yew Tree, one of Japan's most traditional kessha. "What we do is something like religious training. It's pure literature. On the cellphones what they're doing is more like a chat group."

True tanka should be complex and multilayered, says Kenya Washio, 61, an editor who for 27 years has been a member of the kessha Karin, which means quince in English. Sitting in his small, book-cluttered office, Mr. Washio, who writes under the pen name Ken Kodaka, points to a poem he wrote about 25 years ago: "Whither the baseball/stamped with the emblem of Health/which once I did throw/into the wide-spreading mitt/held by my elder brother."

The poem is a nostalgic yearning for the simple joy of playing catch with his brother and for his childhood in the years after World War II, explains Mr. Washio. And the word "Health" refers to both an old Japanese baseball brand and the vigorous, hopeful mood of that era.

What's more, Mr. Washio says, nobody improves in cellphone tanka because everyone is just too nice. In a kessha, poets learn their craft the hard way: by having their creations torn to shreds at group readings.

"Tanka is an exercise in masochism," he says. "You get criticized and put down; you curse, you're mortified, you cry. Then you go home and write some more."

The younger poets argue that the mobile phone has opened up tanka to a wider group of people who would never have put up with the rules and rigor of a kessha.

Ms. Iida, who writes under the initials A.I., was drawn to tanka in 2002 by the prizes offered in a writing contest she spotted in a magazine. Entrants could email poems from their handsets -- a big plus for Ms. Iida, who didn't have a computer.

Ms. Iida sent in three poems, and won a CD-ROM dictionary and box of fruit jellies. Encouraged, she searched for other tanka-related sites on her cellphone, and joined a fledgling group called Mobile Tanka.

Now, Mobile Tanka has more than 90 members, mostly in their teens and 20s. Members mail out calls for poems, then rank their favorites among the entries.

One recent summer day, Ms. Iida and three other Mobile Tanka members sat in a common room at a Tokyo university and put out a call for poems on "juice."

"It's summer break now, so students are probably close to their phones," said Ms. Iida, who finished after 10 minutes of furious tapping on her keypad. "Five so far," said Risa Watanabe, 27, a part-time postal worker, who was done five minutes later.

By the 30-minute time limit, seven tanka had come in. Ms. Watanabe's poem: "Juice spilled on homework/makes a pattern that looks like/handmade rice paper/leaves me solving equations/from in between the wrinkles."

"Unique," emailed in a member nicknamed Star. "Oddly dispassionate," wrote a member called Flower.

Some feel that despite the differences, cellphone tanka could be good for the tanka world. The tanka-writing population has been aging rapidly -- along with the rest of Japan -- and it's badly in need of new blood. Shin Araragi's members are 75 years old, on average, and they have dwindled to 3,000 from 10,000 10 years ago. One tanka on its Web site describes a visit to the urologist.

"Tanka Study," Japan's most prestigious tanka monthly, whose subscribers are in their 70s and 80s mostly, is reaching out to a younger audience by including a section for cellphone tanka, where the text is typed horizontally, unlike the rest of the magazine.

"We're really hoping that with the spread of cellphones, tanka will be able to survive," says Akiko Oshida, the magazine's editor.

Yet the divide remains wide -- even for people who bridge both worlds. Ms. Watanabe is a member of the traditional Shin Araragi, but says she relishes the freedom of her mobile compositions.

"The kessha is stuffy and I feel like I have to stifle myself," she says. "The tanka I write on my cellphone feels closer to me."

Fun stuff for sure, GO Tanka!

Find This Monkey: Adam Gadahn of Orange County!

From: ABC News: Tape Released: American Al Qaeda Member Warns of Attacks: "Sept. 12, 2005 — In an apparent Sept. 11 communiqubroadcast on ABC News, an al Qaeda operative threatens new attacks against cities in the U.S. and Australia.

'Yesterday, London and Madrid. Tomorrow, Los Angeles and Melbourne, Allah willing. And this time, don't count on us demonstrating restraint or compassion,' the tape warns. 'We are Muslims. We love peace, but peace on our terms, peace as laid down by Islam, not the so-called peace of occupiers and dictators.'

* Video: New Al-Qaeda Tape"

American intelligence officials believe the man who appears on the tape to be Adam Gadahn of Orange County, Calif. Last year, Gadahn delivered a similar taped communiqué for al Qaeda. That tape was later deemed authentic.

On the new tape, delivered to ABC News in Pakistan on Saturday, Gadahn's message contains a very pointed al Qaeda threat against Los Angeles and Melbourne. U.S. intelligence officials are closely studying the tape, looking for clues that might lead them to the man who made it. One clue ABC heard on the tape was the sound of many children in a hallway.

This morning, Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton acknowledged his city is a target for terrorists

"We're the entertainment capital of America," Bratton said. "All the negative images of America that these people hate are represented here in Los Angeles. ..."

Insurgents Assert Control Over Town Near Syrian Border: "Zarqawi's Forces Kill U.S.-Allied Iraqis And Impose Strict Law, Witnesses Say

By Ellen Knickmeyer and Jonathan Finer
Washington Post Foreign Service
Tuesday, September 6, 2005; A20

BAGHDAD, Sept. 5 -- Fighters loyal to militant leader Abu Musab Zarqawi asserted control over the key Iraqi border town of Qaim on Monday, killing U.S. collaborators and enforcing strict Islamic law, according to tribal members, officials, residents and others in the town and nearby villages.

Residents said the foreign-led fighters controlled by Zarqawi, a Jordanian, apparently had been exerting authority in the town, within two miles of the Syrian border, since at least the start of the weekend. A sign posted at an entrance to the town declared, 'Welcome to the Islamic Republic of Qaim. ...'"

GO Jodi, Chris & Joe! GO! Connecticut Sues Pentagon Over Base Closing

GO Jodi, Chris & Joe! GO! GO! GO!!!

1010 WINS - ALL NEWS. ALL THE TIME.: Connecticut Sues Pentagon Over Base Closing

"Aug 29, 2005 2:21 pm US/Eastern
(1010 WINS) (HARTFORD) Connecticut Gov. M. Jodi Rell filed a lawsuit Monday to stop the federal government from removing fighter jets from the Air National Guard Base at Bradley International Airport.

The national base closure commission last week approved a Pentagon plan to move nine of the 17 A-10 Thunderbolts from the 103rd Fighter Wing located at Bradley International Airport and retire the rest. The realignment is part of the Pentagon's proposal to shut or consolidate 62 major U.S. military bases and hundreds of smaller facilities.

Rell argues that the Pentagon needs her approval before moving or altering the guard unit.

The National Guard system, according to the lawsuit, is the successor to the original state militias. The state's right to maintain and direct that militia, the suit contends, is deeply rooted in both the U.S. and Connecticut constitutions. ..."

I don't know all the facts here but it seems that Connecticut, who will now be keeping the Nuclear Submarine Base, might just deserve NOT TO BE the only state WITHOUT a "flying mission", what ever that exactly entails.

It's obvious to me that Connecticut needs a most heavy duty "Flying Mission". Ready to be able to kick some butts in just a few minutes plus. Ready to be able to do what someone should have been able to do just about four years ago: Chase down a few errant passenger jets before they crash into some very tall buildings.

Go get'm Governor, please don't bow down to your fellow Republicans. They are way wrong on this one.

This is simply a State defending its State's Rights against the Pentagon and the White House.

Paparazzi Who Cause Car Crashes Deserve To DIE!!!

I just saw the movie Paparazzi and feel the photographer scumbags got everything they deserved. If I hear about this happening in real life, I will let out a very big CHEER!

The Daily Page: Going-Out: Movies: Reviews: Paparazzi

Perhaps the best way to think of it is as a war. On this side are the Hollywood stars with their armies of agents, managers, lawyers, publicists, handlers, personal assistants and, of course, bodyguards. And on this side are the paparazzi — guerrilla warriors armed with cameras, whose job it is to break through the stars’ defenses, steal small parts of their souls and sell them to the highest bidder. The lengths to which paparazzi will go to get “the shot” are legendary — hiding out in trees, digging through garbage, spitting on the stars and shooting their reactions. Car chases are routine. So is helicopter surveillance. And there’s very little the stars can do about it, George Clooney’s “Hard Copy” crusade notwithstanding. Even the paparazzi who were trailing Princess Diana that hot August night, one of whom called 911 while the others recorded the scene for both posterity and prosperity, got by with a slap on the wrist, if that.

Clearly, we’re dealing with scum-sucking whores here, which means they’re perfect fodder for a good old-fashioned revenge fantasy. ..."

How about? The Global War and Struggle Against Terror and Violent Islamic Extremism."

It works for me. The radical Islamics are behind it, and that is who must be destroyed. Terminate without prejudice!

Christian Science Monitor Blog | Verbal Energy Archive August, 2005

Defining militancy downward: GWOT's next?
By Ruth Walker

Reports of the demise of the global war on terror (GWOT to those in the know, both hawks and doves) are greatly exaggerated.

So insists US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. In an address in Texas this week, he denied that the Bush administration is backing away from GWOT in favor of "the global struggle against violent extremism" as the preferred term for well, you know, all this stuff that keeps happening.

The Dallas Morning News quoted him thus:

Some ask, are we still engaged in a war on terror? Let there be no mistake about it. It’s a war.

President Bush banged the same drum in a speech Wednesday: "Make no mistake about it, we are at war." Those interested in hard data have taken to counting how often he uses certain phrases. The tally for Wednesday's round: War on terror, 5; Global struggle against violent extremism, 0. ..."

So what we really have here is a "Global War and Struggle Against Terror and Violent Islamic Extremism."

Everybody happy now?

The video is another Al Qaeda message apparently intended to turn Western democracies against their leaders by explaining acts of terrorism as rational decisions from a group with specific political goals. Finally! A Lesson On Terror From France...Expel Extremist Monkees Now!

It's about time! I only wish the U.S. Government had done it first, but I mostly hope they just plain do it sooner rather than later. Or even I fear, ever rather than never.

: "France ejects 12 Islamic 'preachers of hate'

By Colin Randall in Paris
(Filed: 30/07/2005)

The gulf between British and French treatment of preachers of hatred and violence was thrown sharply into focus yesterday when France announced the summary expulsion of a dozen Islamists between now and the end of August.

A tough new anti-terrorism package was unveiled by Nicolas Sarkozy, the interior minister and a popular centre-Right politician.

Nicolas Sarkozy
Nicolas Sarkozy: 'We have to act against radical preachers'

His proposals reflect French determination to act swiftly against extremists in defiance of the human rights lobby, which is noticeably less vocal in France than in Britain.

Imams and their followers who fuel anti-western feeling among impressionable young French Muslims will be rounded up and returned to their countries of origin, most commonly in France's case to its former north African colonies. ..."

YEY FRANCE! A most unlikely leader in this area. Better you than no one for sure! May God help you convince the world of your correctness. According to this article, the French are tough on terror. Well I guess maybe, as long as that doesn't include being against a monster like the butcher of Baghdad.

OK, so maybe they don't try to kill the BIG MONKEEEs, only the smaller ones. That's still better than nothing.

We must all denounce and destroy these Islamic extremist terrorist monkees. They are the scourge of the planet, a deadly virus worse then AIDS that must be exterminated with extreme prejudice. They have no right except the right to behave.

Hey Terrorist Islamic Extremist Monkees, stop trying to turn the whole planet into an Islamic one. It's not gonna happen. All "religions" should spread their word, that is natural. But to actively propose and promote that all non-Muslims should be either converted, killed or given 2nd class status is just gonna get you killed.

Be fair, be just, Allah does not want you to be this way. Your vile words are bastardised interpretations of the Koran. If not, then Islam is flawed, are you ready to concede that? Sadly, I don't think so. If Islam is really as great as you believe, then you should believe that eventually everybody will see the light and convet naturally. And you should see that if you continue in your terrorist ways you will do much HEAVY damage to Islam.

But do you really care? I doubt it.

Will the U.S. and the U.K. have the smarts and the balls to follow the French? I sure hope so! I believe, eventually they must, if they wish to surivive.

TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

Cheers! One Less Robbing Monkee Scumbag! Newsday.com: Deputies Shoot Man Sought in Robberies

Sometimes good things do happen:
Newsday.com: Deputies Shoot Man Sought in Robberies: "Deputies Shoot Man Sought in Robberies

By Associated Press

July 21, 2005, 2:58 PM EDT

TORRANCE, Calif. -- A serial robbery suspect who sported a tattoo saying 'Blue eyed Devil' was shot to death by police after he allegedly assaulted a deputy, carjacked an SUV and held up a pet store.

Robert Craig, 36, was shot after a brief chase that ended when he crashed the car and ran into an auto recycling yard, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Craig, who had been released from prison in March, was suspected in two Orange County robberies on Saturday and matched the description of a man suspected in at least 14 robberies in Los Angeles County.

Wednesday's pursuit began when a sheriff's deputy questioned Craig outside a motel when he was loading items into a car. The deputy recognized a tattoo on Craig's neck reading 'Blue eyed Devil' -- matching one seen in videotaped footage of at least one robbery.

The deputy went to call for backup but a struggle broke out and Craig wrestled the deputy to the ground before running away, said sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino.

Craig jumped a wall and headed toward a restaurant, where he held a knife to the throat of an elderly man and attempted unsuccessfully to carjack his vehicle before commandeering an SUV, officials said.

'A female accomplice tried to get in the passenger's side and was tackled by a witness,' Amormino said.

Soon after, Craig allegedly robbed a pet store in Mission Viejo. About five hours later, he showed up at an undisclosed location near Torrance where undercover officers were waiting.

He sped off, leading police on a brief high-speed chase before crashing and running through an auto recycling plant, where Torrance police confronted him and he was killed, authorities said.

Authorities who searched Craig's car and motel room found two loaded guns, stolen license plates, methamphetamine and a pit bull, Amormino said.

Now Here's a Movie Idea: Bomb Mecca! Congressman suggests way to retaliate for nuclear terror ...

I pray this never happens, but I've thought for a couple years now that it would make a VERY volatile FILM:

Let's say, that in 2021, a group of 30-something "Christian" radical right-wing extremists insanely effected by 9/11 (maybe one or two of them lost his (or her) mother or father in the tragedy) and Islamic extremism decide to hatch a plot to crash an airliner loaded with a Nuke into Makkah (not Mecca, I just learned) during Ramadan...

details...details...details...

The Jawa Report discusses this sensitive subject here and has thus ignited some very incendiary comments.

Thanks to Ms. Malkin for bringing my attention to this loose-lipped congressman:

CNN.com - Congressman suggests way to retaliatefor nuclear terror - Jul 18, 2005: "Congressman suggests way to retaliate for nuclear terror
Spokesman: Tancredo was speaking hypothetically

Monday, July 18, 2005; Posted: 12:44 p.m. EDT (16:44 GMT)"

DENVER, Colorado (AP) -- A Colorado congressman told a radio show host that the U.S. could "take out" Islamic holy sites if Muslim fundamentalist terrorists attacked the country with nuclear weapons.

Rep. Tom Tancredo made his remarks Friday on WFLA-AM in Orlando, Florida. His spokesman stressed he was only speaking hypothetically.

Talk show host Pat Campbell asked the Littleton Republican how the country should respond if terrorists struck several U.S. cities with nuclear weapons.

"Well, what if you said something like -- if this happens in the United States, and we determine that it is the result of extremist, fundamentalist Muslims, you know, you could take out their holy sites," Tancredo answered.

"You're talking about bombing Mecca," Campbell said.

"Yeah," Tancredo responded.

The congressman later said he was "just throwing out some ideas" and that an "ultimate threat" might have to be met with an "ultimate response."

Spokesman Will Adams said Sunday the four-term congressman doesn't support threatening holy Islamic sites but that Tancredo was grappling with the hypothetical situation of a terrorist strike deadlier than the September 11, 2001, attacks.

"We have an enemy with no uniform, no state, who looks like you and me and only emerges right before an attack. How do we go after someone like that?" Adams said.

"What is near and dear to them? They're willing to sacrifice everything in this world for the next one. What is the pressure point that would deter them from their murderous impulses?" he said.

Tancredo is known in the House for his tough stand on immigration.

Mohammad Noorzai, coordinator of the Colorado Muslim Council and a native of Afghanistan, said Tancredo's remarks were radical and unrepresentative but that people in Tancredo's position need to watch their words when it comes to sacred religious sites and texts.

Will Hollywood ever have the balls to make such a film, I doubt it; the stupidity maybe, but not the balls. You see, it would serve to show that ALL terrorists are human shitbags, not just Christian ones, this is something Hollywood is deathly afraid of doing. Pussies!

KILL All These Angry Terrorist Monkeys!

Foreign Affairs - Europe's Angry Muslims - Robert S. Leiken: "AN AMERICAN CONCERN

Fox News and CNN's Lou Dobbs worry about terrorists stealing across the United States' border with Mexico concealed among illegal immigrants. The Pentagon wages war in the Middle East to stop terrorist attacks on the United States. But the growing nightmare of officials at the Department of Homeland Security is passport-carrying, visa-exempt mujahideen coming from the United States' western European allies.

Jihadist networks span Europe from Poland to Portugal, thanks to the spread of radical Islam among the descendants of guest workers once recruited to shore up Europe's postwar economic miracle. In smoky coffeehouses in Rotterdam and Copenhagen, makeshift prayer halls in Hamburg and Brussels, Islamic bookstalls in Birmingham and 'Londonistan,' and the prisons of Madrid, Milan, and Marseilles, immigrants or their descendants are volunteering for jihad against the West. It was a Dutch Muslim of Moroccan descent, born and socialized in Europe, who murdered the filmmaker Theo van Gogh in Amsterdam last November. A Nixon Center study of 373 mujahideen in western Europe and North America between 1993 and 2004 found more than twice as many Frenchmen as Saudis and more Britons than Sudanese, Yemenites, Emiratis, Lebanese, or Libyans. Fully a quarter of the jihadists it listed were western European nationals -- eligible to travel visa-free to the United States.

The emergence of homegrown mujahideen in Europe threatens the United States as well as Europe. Yet it was the dog that never barked at last winter's Euro-American rapprochement meeting. Neither President George W. Bush nor Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice drew attention to this mutual peril, even though it should focus minds and could buttress solidarity in the West.

Supreme Justice Souter's Land May Be Stolen!

Supreme Justice Souter may reap what he's sown! From Freestar Media, LLC:

"Press Release

For Release Monday, June 27 to New Hampshire media
For Release Tuesday, June 28 to all other media

Weare, New Hampshire (PRWEB) Could a hotel be built on the land owned by Supreme Court Justice David H. Souter? A new ruling by the Supreme Court which was supported by Justice Souter himself itself might allow it. A private developer is seeking to use this very law to build a hotel on Souter's land.

Justice Souter's vote in the 'Kelo vs. City of New London' decision allows city governments to take land from one private owner and give it to another if the government will generate greater tax revenue or other economic benefits when the land is developed by the new owner.

On Monday June 27, Logan Darrow Clements, faxed a request to Chip Meany the code enforcement officer of the Towne of Weare, New Hampshire seeking to start the application process to build a hotel on 34 Cilley Hill Road. This is the present location of Mr. Souter's home.

Clements, CEO of Freestar Media, LLC, points out that the City of Weare will certainly gain greater tax revenue and economic benefits with a hotel on 34 Cilley Hill Road than allowing Mr. Souter to own the land.

The proposed development, called 'The Lost Liberty Hotel' will feature the 'Just Desserts Caf' and include a museum, open to the public, featuring a permanent exhibit on the loss of freedom in America. Instead of a Gideon's Bible each guest will receive a free copy of Ayn Rand's novel 'Atlas Shrugged.'

Clements indicated that the hotel must be built on this particular piece of land because it is a unique site being the home of someone largely responsible for destroying property rights for all Americans.

'This is not a prank' said Clements, 'The Towne of Weare has five people on the Board of Selectmen. If three of them vote to use the power of eminent domain to take this land from Mr. Souter we can begin our hotel development.'

Clements' plan is to raise investment capital from wealthy pro-liberty investors and draw up architectural plans. These plans would then be used to raise investment capital for the project. Clements hopes that regular customers of the hotel might include supporters of the Institute For Justice and participants in the Free State Project among others."

Ooh weeee...I sure hope this goes somewhere! This could be loads of fun!

Take that your Honor!

Finally a Little Justice for Falun Gong...

Finally, a little bit of long overdue justice for some Falun Gong followers. From The Epoch Times | Highest Hong Kong Court Throws Out Judgement Against Falun Gong Appellants:

"HONG KONG - In a reversal of a lower court’s 2002 ruling, the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal dropped all charges remaining against 8 Falun Gong practitioners on Thursday.

The charges resulted from a meditative vigil 16 people held in Hong Kong in March 2002 outside the Liaison Office to the Beijing government. Police arrested and forcibly removed the 16 from the sidewalk. Six charges brought against the defendants included obstruction of a public place, obstructing police, and assault.

A high-profile trial in August 2002 found the Falun Gong practitioners guilty, with fines imposed. They appealed the convictions. Four of the six convictions originally entered against the entire group of 16 were quashed during a November 2004 court ruling.

The 61-page May 5 decision noted that, “the appellants were engaged in a peaceful demonstration in exercise of their constitutional right.”

The judgment said, “The inescapable conclusion is accordingly that the objective requirement of reasonable suspicion of a public place obstruction without lawful excuse cannot be made out either on the basis of what had been said at the briefings or of what was self-evident at the scene. It follows that the arrests for obstruction… were unlawful. This in turn means that the actions taken by the officers to remove the appellants from the vehicle while keeping them in police detention were not performed in the due execution of their duty.”

The court allowed the appeal of the defendants, and all four remaining convictions were quashed."

The next BIG victory for Falun Gong will hopefully be on the mainland.

Should we hold our breath?

Dicks, Toads and Wimps...

From USATODAY.com - Bush nudges Social Security bill without private accounts:

"WASHINGTON (AP) — With the acquiescence of their leaders, key House Republicans are drafting Social Security legislation stripped of President Bush's proposed personal accounts financed with payroll taxes and lacking provisions aimed at assuring long-term solvency.

Instead, according to officials familiar with the details, the measure showcases a promise, designed to reassure seniors, that Social Security surplus funds will be held inviolate, available only to create individual accounts that differ sharply from Bush's approach. ..."

I was afraid of this, of Bush caving in to the lying Dems regarding Social Security reform.

Wouldn't you rather have your heirs get your SS payments after your gone? Well wouldn't you? Why not? Why wouldn't you? Why? Why?

We Want A Recess Appointment for Bolton! Recess Appointment! Come on Bush!

We Want A Recess Appointment for Boltonas UN Ambassador! Recess Appointment! Come on Bush!

From all over the place, this one from Bloomberg.com: U.S.:

"Bush May Give Bolton Temporary Appointment to UN, Sen. Kyl Says

June 20 (Bloomberg) -- President George W. Bush may give John Bolton a temporary appointment as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations if Senate Democrats continue to stall a vote on his nomination, Republican Senator Jon Kyl said today.

``It's really critical we get John Bolton confirmed,'' Kyl of Arizona, chairman of the Republican Policy Committee, said in an interview. ``If we can't get him confirmed, my guess is he'll be appointed with a recess appointment.'' That would put Bolton in the position until the Congress adjourns late next year.

Bush, at a news conference today with the leaders of the European Union, refused to say whether he's considering a recess appointment. ``I think Mr. Bolton should get an up-or-down vote on the Senate floor,'' Bush said in response to a question. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice also wouldn't rule out a recess appointment when asked about it yesterday on Fox News Sunday. ``We'll see what happens this week,'' Rice said.

The U.S. Senate is scheduled to vote later today on whether to end debate on Bolton's nomination and let it advance it to a final vote. Republicans hold 55 seats in the 100-member chamber and need 60 to override Democrats' stalling tactics.

Bolton's nomination was sent to the Senate March 17 and the delay on his nomination is an embarrassment for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist as well as the White House.

Democrats, led by Joe Biden of Delaware and Chris Dodd of Connecticut, say Bolton lacks the diplomatic skills needed to be UN envoy, that he abused subordinates and once tried to pressure intelligence analysts to change reports to conform to his views.

Seeking Names

Democrats say no vote should be held until the Bush administration releases classified information involving Bolton that they sought weeks ago.

Democrats refused to end debate on the nomination last month after the White House wouldn't release information on Bolton's receipt of names that had been censored in intelligence reports. Democrats want to learn whether Bolton used this intelligence to intimidate officials who disagreed with his views.

Supporters of Bolton, 56, dispute the criticism of him and say he will strongly defend U.S. interests and carry out needed reforms at the UN. He has won Senate confirmation to government posts on four prior occasions.

Kyl said Democrats are playing politics with Bolton's nomination, rather than opposing him on substantive grounds.

``I just can't believe that Democrats want to begin to again be negative,'' Kyl said. The Democrats' request for documents is a ``sideshow'' reminiscent of their obstruction during Bush's first term, Kyl said.

White House Scott McClellan said much the same thing to reporters today.

``It is unfortunate that the Democratic leadership continues to block his nomination, especially since he has majority support,'' McClellan told reporters at the White House. ``It is very clear now that the Democratic leadership is not interested in the information'' in the intelligence intercepts, he said. ``They are interested in blocking his nomination.''

Extra Super-Sized "Rudy" Moment...Brings a Town to Tears

Thanks to Ms. Malkin for linking over to this amazing SUPER-Charged "Rudy" experience that just happened out in California:

Ryan Bellflower's future is uncertain, but for one shining moment...

By Tim Dahlberg
The Associated Press

CLOVIS, Calif. -- The chant began late in the fourth quarter in the basketball gym at Clovis East High. The students started it first, clapping their hands in unison and pounding the bleachers with their feet.

It didn't take long for the parents to pick it up, too. The noise grew until the whole gym seemed to shake.

'We want Ryno. We want Ryno.'

Pacing the sideline, Coach Tim Amundsen felt himself getting goose bumps. Less than 4 minutes remained in the game, and Clovis East was winning comfortably over rival Buchanan High. Now Amundsen had a decision to make.

It was senior night, the last time Ryan Belflower would wear his home uniform. Everyone in the gym knew his story.

Ryan was a special education student who would do anything to fit in and worked tirelessly to make that happen. His basketball career began..."

9/11 WTC Memorial to Blame USA for World's Evils - The Multi-Million Dollar 9/11 Insult

This story is getting more and more play, I just saw it again at Little Green Footballs, please pass this info around, this is just a total disgrace!

The Multi-Million Dollar 9/11 Insult

On September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorists hijacked airplanes and flew them into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, killing almost 3,000 people and horrifying the world. (Except those parts of the world where they danced and celebrated.)

Now radical leftists have hijacked the Ground Zero Memorial at the World Trade Center, to install a self-hating lecture on America’s sins and human rights failings.

In Debra Burlingame’s words, it’s a multi-million dollar insult. And it’s brought to you by the ACLU and George Soros.

Debra Burlingame is the sister of the pilot whose plane was turned into a gigantic suicide bomb on 9/11, and she was interviewed today on Bill Bennett’s show; you can listen over the web here: Bill Bennett: Interviews.

UPDATE at 6/7/05 3:55:08 pm:

GOP Bloggers has contact information for the 9/11 Memorial: Reclaim the September 11 Memorial.

The board of directors of the International Freedom Center are:

Tom A. Bernstein (Chairman) - President of Chelsea Piers, President of the Board of Human Rights First

Paula Grant Berry (Vice-Chair) - Member of the Board, World Trade Center Memorial Foundation

Stephen B. Heintz - President of the Rockefeller Bros. Fund

Daniel T. Tishman - President of Tishman Construction Corporation

Tom Bernstein is an avowed liberal; I suggest calls to Daniel Tishman (212-399-3600). The International Freedom Center was selected by the Lower Manhattan Development Corp. to be at the 9/11 memorial, and the chairman of the LMDC is John Whitehead (212-962-2300). The LMDC board was appointed by New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg (311 in NYC or 212-NEW-YORK outside NYC) and New York Governor George Pataki (518-474-8390). These people probably aren’t aware of what travesty is about to take place on hallowed ground, so let them know.

This is pure bull sheet people. The 9/11 memorial at the future WTC is not the place for such blame-America-first crap.

Come on, get mad!

People Who Do This Are Animals! Will The Corporations Save Us?

Take note all you "tolerant" people, from the Center for Religious Freedom:

"...
Radical Islam's Rules shows that in the countries surveyed, state imposition of extreme Shari’a is characterized by:

* a lack of due process, stemming from vague and haphazard laws, untrained judges, and extrajudicial enforcement;
* cruel and unusual punishments, such as amputation, the removal of eyes, stoning, and crucifixion;
* the denial of equal rights under law to women, who are reduced to second-class status in marriage, divorce, and inheritance, and are denied full civil and political rights, equal education and employment opportunities, and equal treatment under the law. Rape and other forms of sexual exploitation often go unpunished due to rules of evidence that give women’s legal testimony less weight than men's;
* the denial of equal rights under law to non-Muslims, making them second class citizens and worse, nonpersons without legal protection, sometimes even from extra judicial killing. Non-Muslims are denied full civil and political rights, particularly regarding religious freedom, and are discriminated against in state education and employment and under rules of evidence;
* the state enforcement of blasphemy or apostasy laws that can carry the death penalty against Muslims who are not part of the dominant group, who dissent from the state-imposed version of Islam, or who criticize the government's policies;
* weak or non-existent democratically elected legislatures, whose power is negated by un-elected religious authorities officially responsible for voiding laws that they deem to be inconsistent with Shari’a;
* and denial of religious freedom to individuals, particularly those who are Muslim, through blasphemy and apostasy laws that punish dissent and debate.

Despite its threat to democracy and American interests, the state use of extreme Shari’a is little understood by American policymakers. With the Middle East now experiencing democratic ferment, understanding the relation of religion and law is more urgent than ever. The book proposes policy incentives for governments to find alternatives to extreme Shari’a.

Australians Throw Less Butts - U.S. Needs Pocket Ashtray and Field-Stripping Campaign...

Found this on Reuter's Environmental News site Planet Ark:

"7 billion cigarette butts are littered by Australia's 3.7 million smokers every year.

As a result, 7% of Australia's bushfires are caused by discarded cigarettes - that's over 4,500 fires a year caused by cigarettes and smoking materials.

To combat this Planet Ark, Clean Up Australia and Landcare Australia have distributed half a million Go Green pocket ashtrays into 1,000 Coles Myer retail stores.

We want smokers to use the Go Green pocket ashtray for the great Australian outdoors:

* Keep our beaches and waterways clean

* Reduce the risk of bushfires

* Help protect our wildlife and vegetation

* Stop the littering of 7 billion butts

* Avoid butt littering fines"

...

We need these things here in America. I just can't understand how people who would never even throw a little piece of paper on the ground because they "hate littering", don't hesitate to always, always throw their cig butts on the ground, and most people never even stamp them out, they just throw a burning butt right into the streets, sidewalks and peoples yards.

Do what I do: Field-Strip your smokes. Either stamp it out with your shoe, and then throw it in the garbage, or tear off or pull off the butt (throw in garbage, or pocket butt bag), throw the cig part on the ground and stamp it out completely. Bits of tobacco and little specks of white paper on the ground are not the problem, they blow away into dust or decompose quickly, but cig butt filters stay around for years, thousands of years for the majority of them, which are made from plastic or other petroleum based concoctions. Camel cigs use cotton filters which might be gone in only 10 or 100 years I forget which.

NYC Mayor Michael "Bloomburglar" should commission an AD campaign promoting better BUTT behavior.

Come on people, don't be stupid; fight the urge to throw those butts on the ground, burning or not.

In addition to helping the environment immensely, if there's less cig butt litter anti-smoking ZEALOTS will have less to whine about.

iPod Thieves Deserve Death When In The Act!

Yup, it's fair, if some dirtball (which you are if you ROB someone) is killed in the act of a robbery using violence or the threat of violence, they deserved it, period! Rip an iPod off someone and run into the street and get smashed by a truck, and iCheer, yup, you deserved it.

Go ahead, pull that stolen iPod out when a policeman is chasing you, and get shot when he thinks it's a gun? iCheer, you deserved it! Some piece of sheet tries to steal an iPod and gets beaten to death by the owner, iCheer, he deserved it. And the victim should be given the benefit of the doubt in claims of self-defence.

From Gothamist: iPod Thefts Don't Surprise New Yorkers:

"The NYPD's news that iPods may be prompting a rise in subway crime gave the media a great way to sensationalize the darling MP3 player. For instance, ABC 7 had this cute graphic (right) and this catchy opening:

If the crime had a name, it would be called 'iRob'- subway riding-thieves targeting people listening to music on their iPod. When the time is right, the thief snatches the device and hops off the train just before the doors close.

But, as with many things, iPod users aren't that surprised and seem to be trucking along: One rider explains her nonchalance to the NY Times by saying, 'It was a concern when I first got it. But I live in Williamsburg, and on the L train everybody has one.' So along with funky glasses and exquisitely weathered denim, iPods seem to be standard issue in Williamsburg! Not only do we like the comparison of iPods to 8-ball jackets, which were stolen during many early 90s thefts, Gothamist liked one of the reader comments from yesterday's post and now we wonder the same: When are the iPod decoys coming? Or the headphones that look like hair extensions? "

Or just paint your headphone cords black like I did, cuz the white iPod ones are a "dead" giveaway.

Of course, if these thieves are caught and put through the system, and found guilty, they don't deserve a death sentence.

But in the act of committing a robbery using violence, the threat of violence, or even if a victim simply perceives the threat of violence, the robber(s) deserves whatever Karma dishes up for them, even a most painful and horrifying death.

Regina Crenshaw: Ugly, Evil X-Principal BeOTCH Deserves Massive Beating...

Thank you Michelle for reminding us of this: Michelle Malkin: THE HORROR AT MIFFLIN HIGH: UPDATE:

"THE HORROR AT MIFFLIN HIGH: UPDATE
By Michelle Malkin June 01, 2005 11:36 PM

Finally, charges have been filed in the monstrous case of an alleged gang rape of a handicapped girl and cover-up by her public high school's administrators:

Two students were charged today with sexually assaulting a mentally disabled girl in a high school auditorium. The former principal was charged with failing to notify police.

The case generated criticism because school officials did not immediately report the allegations to police and said they feared negative media attention if they did.

The 16-year-old girl told a teacher at Mifflin High School that she had been dragged into the auditorium March 9 and forced to perform oral sex on at least two boys as other students watched and one boy videotaped, according to investigators.

Two boys, Brandyn Hobbs, 15, and Timothy C. Armistead, 16, were charged with juvenile counts of sexual battery and kidnapping.

Regina Crenshaw, who was removed as principal because of the incident, was charged with failing to call police. If convicted, she could get anything from probation to 30 days in jail.

Crenshaw's still playing the blame game and waving around her victim card. A separate hearing on her termination scheduled for tomorrow.

Bush-Haters Take Note: 10 Reasons To Hope Bush Lives

Found over at the Drudge: Oregon Daily Emerald - 10 Reasons Not To Kill Bush:

Jennifer McBride
Columnist

May 25, 2005
Recently in Georgia, the president gave a speech only to have someone chuck a hand grenade at him. Lucky for all, the blast cap did not explode. Though originally thought to be a dud, the FBI later revealed the weapon was far from safe.

I can't possibly guess the assassin's reasoning, but I've heard enough people on campus proclaiming their hatred of George W. Bush to know that some wouldn't have shed many tears. And that's a shame.

If the assassin were looking for a way to hurt America, blowing up the president would be a good idea. Bush's martyrdom would put the last nail in the coffin of the liberal agenda. So, for those Bush-haters out there, here are 10 reasons you should stop praying for an assassinated G.W.B.:

1) Killing the president immediately generates sympathy for his cause. If the president died tomorrow, there would be no question that all of his nominees for the judicial branch would make it through the Senate.

2) A dead President Bush leaves a live Dick Cheney in charge. Need I say more?

3) The Pakistani political situation is drastically fragile. Should President Bush die, Musharraf's brutal, mostly secular dictatorship probably will be replaced by a brutal, religiously fundamental dictatorship, reducing the United States' chances of bringing in Osama bin Laden to nil.

4) Any criticisms of the administration will be regarded as more unpatriotic than ever. In the next election, you could expect to see Democratic primary candidates proclaiming that their Republican counterparts aren't 'fit to follow in President Bush's footsteps.'

5) Killing President Bush could spur another spate of international invasions, with or without U.N. approval. The U.S. military cannot deal with invading another country without further hollowing our ability to defend ourselves and respond to threats from other countries, such as a nuclear North Korea.

6) The news cycle would be justly co-opted. With the media so focused on one story, there wouldn't be time to examine important issues such as the government suppression in Uzbekistan or Egyptian election tampering. In fact, all foreign news that didn't directly affect the assassination would probably grind to a halt.

7) President Bush's status as a martyr would leave the electorate more polarized than ever, especially if liberals were seen as publicly irreverent to President Bush's memory. It would be a little different if natural selection decreed death-by-snacking, but toasting an assassin's success leaves a decidedly bitter taste in the national mouth.

8) Jeb Bush's popularity would skyrocket. He would undoubtedly win the Republican nomination and then the election in 2008. With the Supreme Court full of near-zombies, I would prefer a different man to pick the people who are going to strangle us with laws.

9) Killing George Bush won't end any of the policies people disagree with. An assassination would merely strengthen our resolve to stay the course in Iraq, keep troops in Saudi Arabia, support our Israeli allies, etc. Policies don't die just because the president does.

10) Slaying President Bush is simply immoral. Anyone who advocates purposefully killing someone defenseless (and a democratically elected leader, no less) is clearly value-challenged. I don't understand the logical contortions some people must go through to be anti-death penalty yet pro-assassination.

In all seriousness, I don't hate President Bush. I dislike a lot of his administration's choices, but I think he's a good man doing a difficult job. As a leader, you're always going to be hated. I am too often shocked by the vitriolic repulsion many people feel for our leader and America in general, especially because the loathing is often poorly informed. I've met people on this campus who see America as the worst human rights abuser in the world (unlike the angelic paradise of Cambodia) and people who sway liberal not because they actually know anything about issues but because it's popular.

Liberalism has to be more than a college fad or a collection of loudmouths whose idiotic comments stir headlines. The rabid dislike some people feel for a man they've never even met makes me ashamed to be a Democrat.

jennifermcbride@dailyemerald.com"

For the same reason, I predict some people will be ashamed to be Republicans if Hillary becomes President, and they see all the viscious hatred spewing from their side.

Bomb-Selling Monkey Belongs In Gitmo But Will Remain Jailed In Houston

Click2Houston.com - News - Bomb-Selling Suspect To Remain Jailed In Houston: "HOUSTON -- A man charged with trying to sell a bomb to terrorists will remain jailed in Houston without bond, a judge ruled Thursday.

Ronald Allen Grecula, of Bangor, Pa., has been held without bond since his arrest Friday at a Houston hotel during a meeting with undercover FBI agents. Investigators said Grecula was willing to build and sell an explosive device to terrorists to use against Americans.

He was charged with attempting to provide material support and resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

A bond-reduction hearing was held Thursday afternoon. An FBI agent testified that she has recordings of Grecula and his obvious hatred of America, including one where he made a toast saying, 'Everybody wants to kill Americans. I'll drink to that.'

An undercover FBI agent pretended to be an al-Qaida operative.

The judge denied the bond motion and ruled that there was enough evidence in the case to send it to the grand jury.

Grecula's estranged wife, Monique, and their two children, live in The Woodlands.

The FBI said Grecula was also trying to find someone to kill his wife, since she has custody.

Grecula had previously been arrested in Malta for parental kidnapping. He was imprisoned in Pennsylvania before being released in March 2003.

If convicted, he could receive a sentence of up to 15 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

Judge Discriminating Against Paganism Is Out-Of-Order!

Where's the ACLU when you need them? They routinely fight against Christian traditions, they defend Islamic Fascists, let's see if they step in to help their friends at the ICLU. Their help probably won't be needed however, this Judge is so wrong, it would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad and maddening.

From the Indianapolis Star: Judge: Parents can't teach pagan beliefs:

"An Indianapolis father is appealing a Marion County judge's unusual order that prohibits him and his ex-wife from exposing their child to 'non-mainstream religious beliefs and rituals.'
The parents practice Wicca, a contemporary pagan religion that emphasizes a balance in nature and reverence for the earth.
Cale J. Bradford, chief judge of the Marion Superior Court, kept the unusual provision in the couple's divorce decree last year over their fierce objections, court records show. The order does not define a mainstream religion. ..."

Can you believe this? Is this idiot's ruling sick or what? Amazing!

"...As Wiccans, the boy's parents believe in nature-based deities and engage in worship rituals that include guided meditation that Jones says improved his son's concentration. Wicca "is an understanding that we're all connected, and respecting that," said Jones, who is a computer Web designer.
Jones said he does not consider himself a witch or practice anything resembling witchcraft.
During the divorce, he told a court official that Wiccans are not devil worshippers. And he said he does not practice a form of Wicca that involves nudity.
"I celebrate life as a duality. There's a male and female force to everything," Jones said. "I feel the Earth is a living creature. I don't believe in Satan or any creature of infinite evil.""

I pretty much agree with him here, but I would add that there are more than enough human creatures of definite evil.

I'm pretty confident this ruling will fail to survive on appeal, but I'm also sadly confident this judge won't be removed from a cushy job he clearly doesn't deserve.

One of Saddam's Favors To The French!

From Friends of Saddam: "Saddam wiped out a people and the migratory fly way of millions of birds. What used to be the home of a million people is now a desert and the birds have died. This was the 2nd Genocide on Kofi Annan's watch. ..."

...and he did it for the French oil giant Total at their request.

My friend, it was just beeznezz you understand, no?

Being Fed To A Plastic Shredder Is Too Good For Saddam!

From the NY Post: SADDAM'S LIFE IS A HARD CELL

But it's a relatively good life for an imprisoned scumbag.

"He can exercise in a 4,300-square-foot back yard while razor wire keeps out would-be attackers. He tends a small garden in a nearby courtyard.
It may look pretty basic from these [photos], but Saddam is pretty comfortable in there," a soldier who has seen the photos told the newspaper. "Hell, the man's got much more living space than most the GIs out here. You should see the tent I have to share with 30 other guys." ..."

Boohoo, feel sorry for poor Saddam because people released pictures of him in his underwear, how utterly horrible. At least give him some colored underwear or flowery boxers, that will spruce up the next batch of pictures.

It's About Effin Time! Send'm To Gitmo!

Sixty illegal immigrants and possible terrorist moles were arrested working in power plants and refineries

"BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) - Sixty illegal immigrants employed as contract workers at industrial plants - including refineries, power plants and an air cargo facility - were arrested as possible threats to homeland security, officials announced Friday.

The suspects "had access to sensitive critical infrastructure locations and therefore pose a serious homeland security threat," said Michael J. Garcia, assistant secretary for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. "Not only are their identities in question, but given their illegal status, these individuals are vulnerable to potential exploitation by terrorist and other criminal organizations."

The arrests - made Thursday and Friday in Texas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas - came as part of federal efforts to protect key facilities around the country. ..."

That's the way law enforcement! Let's round'm up and put'm away!

Islamist Fascists Reject Saddam-Loving Muslim Brown Noser George Galloway!

The Christian Right would never attack Hillary for kissing their butts. They might feel that she's being a total phony when she panders to them, but they wouldn't try to kill her.
Apparently, radical fanatical Islamic Moonbats may attack a non-Muslim who claims to support them if it looks like some Muslims may vote for the non-Muslim.
From Melanie Phillips's Diary: Gallows humour:
"George Galloway, whose far-left Respect party sucks up to radical Islamists in order to woo the Muslim vote, was last night forced to flee for his life from some of these said Islamists who threatened to string him up as a false prophet for enticing Muslims to take part in the un-Islamic activity of voting. ..."
(hat tip: LGF)

Why do they hate him so much? I can see why Saddam-haters and U.N. Food Scammer-haters do , but they don't physically attack him.

Why do fanatical radical Islamic Fundamentalist Fascists want to kill him?

Maybe it's because deep down in their trapped and tortured souls they know they are insane and therefore can't believe that anybody but one of them could honestly support them.

Maybe it's also because they believe that democracy and voting are evil, and therefore they are insane with jealousy when they see an infidel (Galloway is, in more ways than one) trying to woo the far vaster pool of moderate Muslims toward the grown-up and relatively civilized game of democracy, thus potentially away from their mad plan of world domination.

The Christian Right will never advocate doing something so savage and barbaric to the ass-kissing Hillary.

Turn This Guilty Monkey Loose In Gen-Pop!

Apparently this piece of evil scum has hugely expanded his criminal repetoire. I'm not sorry that it's healthy to hate cowardly garbage like this: KRT Wire | 05/11/2005 | Man says he killed girls after daughter disobeyed, prosecutors say:

"CHICAGO - (KRT) - Jerry Branton Hobbs III told police he became enraged when his 8-year-old daughter defied his order to come home, then killed the girl and her best friend with a small knife before dragging their bodies into the woods, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Hobbs, just released from a Texas prison last month, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the Mother's Day slayings of his daughter, Laura Hobbs, 8, and her friend Krystal Tobias, 9."

Mr. Hobbs should be sentenced to life in prison in the general prison population of the most violent, gang and rape-filled, child killer-hating hell hole America can find. Don't put him in a Control Unit Prison where he's isolated 22-23 hours a day. He doesn't deserve the protection.

Keep an eye on him, and if he survives and starts to thrive in Gen Pop, then stick him in isolation. But don't rush to judgement, there's a good chance he'll be beaten to death in due time. Patience is a virtue.

Let's Try Guilty BY REASON Of Insanity For A Change!

If this piece of human trash had been found guilty by reason of insanity for bashing his sister's head in, he wouldn't have been able to kill his girlfriend's kid. It was from Newsday.com: Texas Jurors Convict Man in Boy's Death

"SAN ANTONIO -- A man was convicted of murder Wednesday for smothering his girlfriend's 6-year-old son and stuffing the boy's body in an oven last year.
Kenneth Pierott, 28, faces up to 99 years in prison. He showed no emotion as the verdict was read.
Jurors deliberated for just under four hours before rejecting the defense's argument that Pierott was mentally ill and didn't know smothering the child was wrong. ..."

"During the trial, prosecutors wheeled into the courtroom the beat-up oven in which Tre-Devin's body was found, lying in a fetal position. Police said the oven had all its burners on and the oven temperature turned to 600 degrees, but the oven did not heat because the pilot light wasn't lit.

Pierott was earlier found innocent by reason of insanity in the 1996 fatal beating of his sister, who suffered from cerebral palsy. Stephanie Pierott, 25, weighed only 43 pounds when Pierott beat her with a dumbbell so severely that he displaced her eyeballs and crushed her skull. He spent about four months in a state mental hospital in 1998 before he was released.

Jurors did not hear of his acquittal in the case. ..."

Thank God he's in Texas, hopefully this piece of vile garbage will be fried, either by the State, or by some fellow child killer-hating inmates before he serves out his life sentence. Let's pray he gets at least that.

People like this DO NOT deserve to live.

Black Woman Fakes Hate Crime To Get Out Of Classes!

Here's one example of one way all this "Hate Crime" business has been a huge mistake. This "Hate Crime" faker should be prosecuted completely. Imagine if the racial roles were reversed. From La Shawn Barber’s Corner - Alicia Hardin, Exposed:

"Update II: Alicia Hardin is going to have a hard time in life if she doesn’t learn to accept responsibility for her actions. She now claims she didn’t send the letters, and the cops “forced” her to say she did.

———————————————————————————————————————————-

By now most of you’ve heard about the black student at Trinity International University whose fake-hating caused the evacuation of minority students to a local hotel. We finally have a name to go with this treachery. Alicia Hardin has been charged with a hate crime for mailing “racist” threats to fellow students at the school. Why? Because she wanted to go home. She figure this stunt would convince her mother that the Christian college was “dangerous.”"

"The letters, filled with threats and racial slurs, were sent to two black students and a Hispanic student over the past three weeks. The third letter contained a threat to use a weapon against a black female student.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson, who met with students and parents after the letters were made public, said last week, “It was painful to talk with the students. They feel there are targets on their back because they are black, because they are involved in interracial dating relationships.”
However, the president of the university, Gregory Waybright, said Friday that there was no mention of interracial dating in the letters. (Source)"

...

What if this student faker had been a black man?

Imagine if a white woman did this: She sends threatening "KILL Whities!" letters, allegedly written by a black (or blacks), to fellow white students.

Now imagine a white man did this.

Of these four people, who would get the most punishment?

Who should get the most punishment?

Or, should all four people get the same punishment?

And what should that punishment be?

Here's an intersting piece on "reverse racism" of the name calling kind.

Dhimmis and Dhimmitude: The Status of Minorities Under Islamic Rule - READ It Till You're Angry!

Dhimmis and Dhimmitude: The Status of Minorities Under Islamic Rule

Do You Want Dhimmitude? Do You?

The Los Angeles Billboard Project

"Hey Kids, Make Meth So Cops Can Steal Your Parent's Home!

If you ever wondered whether the righteous "Drug Warriors" wanted kids to become the next drug criminals to keep the pipeline filled, you can stop wondering. I mean hey, the Drug War is a $20,000,000,000 (give or take a couple of billion) a year industry, it can't be just maintained; like all industries, it must expand.

Thanks to Little Miss Everywhere, Michele Malkin, for pointing me over to PunditGuy's "Cooking Meth 101"

"Our Tax Dollars At Work. And people wonder why parents choose to homeschool their kids..."

Original story here at Komo TV from the Seattle/Tacoma area:

"ELMA - A local woman went 'through the roof' when a deputy took his anti-drug message to high school.
She says he showed students how to make methamphetamines, and she has the video to prove it.
Grays Harbor County sheriff's deputy shows class, "And the reaction will start occurring down there and start bubbling up."

It is part chemistry class and part drug enforcement as a member of the Grays Harbor drug task force talks to Elma High School students about making Methamphetamine.
Deputy shows class: "Then you'll have a little bit down at the bottom, the white stuff, and that's your meth."
One parent considers it a recipe for disaster. ..."

Ya think? Not for the Warriors. The War costs BIG bucks, and the Warriors are allowed to help fund themselves by seizing peoples homes, cars, and cash. Even if they never charge the owners with a drug crime, they do all they can to try NOT to return what they've stolen.

Of course "The Elma Schools superintendent says the district will also review the material but stands by this effort to educate the students. ..."

And in all fairness "The sheriff's office says they don't give specifics about the recipe and they emphasize how explosive the process is."

But come on, don't you think this might inspire an extra kid here and there to find the missing pieces to the magic puzzle? The Pacific Northwest is known as a problem area.

Then, when the kids' meth labs explode in their parents' homes' basements, the Cops can come and still sieze the land, even if the house is destroyed. Good chance they'll get to keep it too, even if the parents are never charged.

Seriously, the Warriors want all people to stop using drugs so they can update their resumes and get new careers, they want to be made obsolete.

They don't want the focus of the war to be changed from enforcement to treatment, they don't want to have to retrain to become "Drug Treatment Officers", that's too touchy feely, they want to remain Warriors, it's much more exciting.

Tons of people are employed by the "Drug Fraud" effort, and quite a few are GETTING BLOODY RICH from it. They deserve employment and opportunity too. This is America after all.

Muslims Killing Muslims! Iraqi Gov't Getting Mad!

From the VOA News - Bodies of 50 Former Hostages Discovered in Iraq's Tigris River

"Iraq's president says the bodies of 50 people who were held hostage in recent days have been recovered from the Tigris River, and he has vowed action against the killers. Meanwhile, people in a town northwest of Baghdad reported they found 19 bullet-riddled bodies in a soccer stadium, and they believe the dead men were new Iraqi soldiers.

Iraqi President Jalal Talabani told reporters in Baghdad the bodies found in the river included men, women, and children. He says they were kidnapped late last week.

"Terrorists committed crimes there. It is not true to say that there were no hostages," he says. "There [were], they were killed and they [the hostage-takers] threw the bodies into the Tigris and more than 50 bodies have been brought out from the Tigris and we have the full names of those that were killed and those criminals who committed those crimes. And Mr. Prime Minister, Dr. Allawi, he is going to deal with it. ..."

Hopefully soon, the Good Muslims will start killing more and more of the BAD Muslims.

Fox's "24" Is VERY Far Far-fetched BUT MOST Terrorists ARE Arab Islamic Fascists!

Nfamous over at The Bottom Half just doesn't get this "Terrorist" stuff. The Bottom Half: "24" More Right-Wing Propaganda

"I didn't watch the first two seasons of "24", which currently stars Kevin Sutherland as Jack Bauer, but since football season doesn't start for a while I figured I'd give this season a shot. I must admit it is entertaining. There are a lot of shock and awes which leads me to my point. This season is all about Jack and CTC stopping the Arab terrorists. Do we really need to be further spreading anti-Islamic propaganda? Bush does just fine on his own.

Not only does "24" depict all Arabs as terrorirsts but CTC tortures them Abu Ghraib-style and worse in their efforts to extract information from them. It's almost as if they are trying to legitimize torture with the American public. I don't care how entertaining this show might be I will never support its warped depictions of Arabs or any other people. Unfortunately most people do fall prey to this media propaganda to some extent and end up supporting Bush even when disagree with him on pivotal issues. This type of show does nothing but increase tensions between all ethnic groups.

"24" stereotypes everyone. Women and minorities are passed over for promotions. Only white men are in charge of everything ultimately. I realize previous seasons had a black president which probably explains why "24" did so bad in the ratings those initial seasons. The same thing happened to Star Trek's "Deep Space Nine" series. People just don't like to see blacks running the show, not even many blacks themselves, even more appalling. In the end, there is no winner when we fan the flames of racism at every turn. We all lose."

Despite being very entertaining, Fox TV's thriller "24" (Mondays 9pm) is about as far-fetched and unrealistic as a TV show depicting realism could possibly be, but this year's terrorist villains, as master-minded by Middle Easterners (Arabs), are certainly the most believable part of the show.

Terrorists who are Arabs have committed many many thousands of admitted terrorist acts, most of these in Israel alone.

So "24" having Middle Easterners (Arabs) as most of the terrorists involved in their isolated 24 hour incidents is hardly a stretch.

Sorry, but I don't have the energy right now to list all the flaws in "24". Maybe later, suffice it to say that in real life nothing BIG and BAD ever happens and resolves itself within 24 hours.

That being said, I highly recommend it for heart-stopping, fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat TV entertainment; and for reminding us that the next terrorist attack we survive will most likely be perpetrated by Middle Eastern Islamofascists who will most likely have Arab blood.

David B. Chalmers: Texas Businessman Indicted in UN Iraq Oil-for-Food SCAMOLA!

From the New York Times: Finally, another American, this time a real American (but WHO REALLY is this guy?), not an Iraqi born one, has been indicted in the UN's Iraq Oil-for-Food SCAM:

"A Texas businessman, as well as a British and a Bulgarian citizen, have been indicted in New York for reportedly paying millions of dollars in secret kickbacks to Saddam Hussein's government in Iraq as part of the United Nations oil-for-food program.

The Texan, David B. Chalmers, a principal of Bay Oil U.S.A. Inc., and an associate of the company, Ludmil Dionissiev, a Bulgarian and permanent American resident, were arrested this morning at their homes in Houston.

The United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, David N. Kelley, said at a news briefing this morning in Manhattan that he would seek the extradition from England of a third defendant, John Irving.

Mr. Kelley said Mr. Chalmers and the other defendants played 'a pivotal role' in efforts to fix the price of oil that was traded and sold under the oil-for-food program and 'facilitated the payment of illegal surchages' on the oil to the Hussein government.

The money was intended to be used for relief purposes.

In a complaint stemming from the same investigation, a South Korean citizen, Tongsun Park, is charged with conspiracy to act in the United States as an unregistered agent of the Iraqi government in creating the oil-for-food program.

Mr. Park, who is believed to be living in South Korea, is said to have received $2 million from the Iraqi government, and to have used some of that money 'to take care of' a United Nations official, Mr. Kelley said.

Mr. Chalmers is the second American indicted in the scandal-ridden program.

Many member countries at the United Nations have refused to cooperate fully with a separate, independent inquiry by investigators looking into waste, fraud and mismanagement in the oil-for-food program, which was approved by the Security Council in 1995, allowing Iraq to sell limited quantities of oil in return for essential goods.

The Independent Inquiry Committee, head by Paul A. Volcker, former head of the Federal Reserve, has issued two interim reports of its findings, and a final report is due in midsummer.

In its first interim report, on Feb. 4, the commission found that the former head of the program, Benon V. Sevan, had a 'grave and continuing conflict of interest' in helping a friend obtain valuable Iraqi oil contracts and said a second United Nations official, Joseph Stephanides, had violated procurement rules. Both men have been suspended and are in the process of answering United Nations charges against them.

Questions have also been raised about the participation of Kojo Annan, son of the United Nations secretary general, Kofi Annan. The elder Mr. Annan was criticized in the most recent interim report on the grounds that he failed to perceive the appearance of a conflict of interest when Kojo Annan was employed by a contractor employed by the program.

Kofi Annan told 1,600 employees gathered in the General Assembly hall on April 6 that there had been 'troubling lapses' in the management of the Iraq program but that he was making changes to prevent any recurrence.

The other American indicted in connection to the oil-for-food program was Samir A. Vincent, an Iraqi-American businessman. On Jan. 18, he pleaded guilty to lobbying influential Americans on behalf of Mr. Hussein without registering as a foreign agent. Mr. Vincent admitted he had secretly been paid hundreds of thousands of dollars and granted rights to sell millions of dollars' worth of Iraqi oil, in exchange for working to end United Nations economic sanctions imposed in 1990. He is now cooperating with Mr. Kelley."

Who is this fellow David Bay Chalmers Jr.?

Forbes Magazine mentioned Mr. Chalmers in their 11.15.04 "The Saddam Shuffle" by Michael Maiello

Friends of Saddam has more on Mr. David Chalmers here and here.

The Washington Post chimes in here.

When Chalmer's indictment was announced I searched out his company, Bayoil USA Inc. in Houston. Here is their #: 713.222.7100. Their Voice Mail system gives the name of their employees. I googled a one "John Overbey" (I later checked the spelling with someone who answered the phone a few days later) and found that a John Overbey and George Bush Sr. started an oil company called Bush-Overbey Oil Development Co. together in Houston in 1950.

http://www.consortiumnews.com/2000/081400a1.html

I wonder whether if it's the same John Overbey (or a relation), he'd have to be 75-85 years old, but wouldn't it be a bit embarrassing to the President?

"A few houses away from George Bush there lived a certain John Overbey. According to Overbey, the "people from the east and the people from Texas or Oklahoma all seemed to have two things in common. They all had a chance to be stockbrokers or investment bankers. And they all wanted to learn the oil business instead." [fn 7] Overbey made his living as a landman. Since George Bush would shortly also become a landman, it is worth investigating what this occupation actually entails; in doing so, we will gain a permanent insight into Bush's character. The role of the landman in the Texas oil industry was to try to identify properties where oil might be found, sometimes on the basis of leaked geological information, sometimes after observing that one of the major oil companies was drilling in the same locale. The land man would scout the property, and then attempt to get the owner of the land to sign away the mineral rights to the property in the form of a lease. ..."

Let the truth be told, and the chips fall where they may...
