How Many Times Can They Kill This Guy?

Guardian Unlimited | Special reports | US governor reprieves man facing 1,000th execution:

"A convicted killer due to become the 1,000th prisoner to be executed in the US since the reinstatement of the death penalty in 1976 was reprieved last night when the governor of Virginia commuted his sentence to life in prison.

Robin Lovitt, 42, found guilty of fatally stabbing a pool hall worker with scissors during a botched robbery, had been due to die by lethal injection at the Greenville correctional centre in Virginia today. ..."

Maybe this guy didn't do it. If it's ever proven that he's innocent, the State of Virginia can let him out, give him $5 Million and say they're sorry.

If they had killed him, there would have probably been less effort to try to prove him innocent, and maybe even more reason to try to suppress any new evidence in his favor.

If he still was found innocent eventually, how would the State of Virginia "apologise" then?

South Park Skewers Scientology & Tom Cruise...They Might Sue!

This week's South Park Episode really rocks the boats of Scientology and Tom Cruise.
Cartman is claimed by the Scientologist BIGwigs to be the reincarnation of their founder and spiritual mastermind, L. Ron Hubbard, author of Dianetics.

Celebrity scientologist Tom Cruise gets a lukewarm greeting from Cartman so he's devestated because he believes that his Idol's reincarnation doesn't think highly of his acting abilities.

So he runs and hides in a closet and won't come out.

No one can persuade Tom to "Come out of the closet!", not xwife Nicole Kidman, fellow Scientologist John Travolta nor "alleged" pedophile pop star
R. Kelly.

The Bigwigs convince Cartman to write down whatever thoughts pop into his head so they can sell his writings to his followers and make millions.

The Chief BIGwig explains the mystery of our existence to Cartman just like this part from Answers.com, but of course a great cartoon goes along with it:

"Xenu, the evil intergalactic ruler who implanted "thetans" or alien spirits, in earth's volcanoes 75 million years ago, after which they escaped and invaded human bodies. The ultimate belief of Scientology is that you are possessed by the spirits of aliens murdered 75 million years ago by "Xenu" and you have to exorcise these spirits."

Of course he doesn't tell him that only "those that reach the higher teachings (OT III) within the Church of Scientology will learn all about" this, and that "the cost of reaching OT III approaches $360,000."

Finally, they put Cartman out in front of a crowd of fawning devotees thinking he will spout the party line and and get the crowd to pony up big bucks for the reincarnated Messiah's deep thoughts.

Instead, Cartman proceeds to tell the crowd that Scientology is a HUGE worldwide SCAM!

The BIGwigs all strt freaking out and screaming that they will sue Cartman for calling their "religion a scam".

This finally brings Tom Cruise out of the closet screaming that he too will sue Cartman.

The show ends with Cartman screaming back: "Go ahead! SUE ME! SUE ME!" while standing on the stage above a huge "SCIENTOLOGY" sign.

LOLOLOLOLOL....

The Church of Scientology and their massive legal resources have sued many into submission.

It will be interesting to see if they choose to go up against the South Park team, Comedy Central and the ultimate media behemoth Viacom.

OUTRAGE!!! Paris' Killer Looting Rioters Called SCUM! That's Not Fair! Whaaaa...

VOA News - France's Chirac Calls for Calm Following Riots:
By Lisa Bryant
Paris
02 November 2005

"French President Jacques Chirac appealed for calm Wednesday following six straight nights of rioting in the low-income suburbs around Paris.

The clashes began after two teenage boys were accidentally electrocuted last Thursday, as they tried to scale a wall in the gritty Paris suburb of Clichy-Sous-Bois. A public prosecutor said the boys thought they were being chased by police. Police denied they had been pursuing them.

Either way, the incident has triggered nightly riots between largely ethnic-Muslim youths and police. The unrest has spread to other low-income housing projects around Paris which have large, ethnic-North African Muslim communities.

France's Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy has responded with a firmness that has sparked criticism from both the leftist opposition and from members of his own center-right party. In particular, Mr. Sarkozy used the word scum to describe the rioters, and this has been particularly controversial.

Francois Hollande, who leads the opposition Socialist Party, told reporters Wednesday that such remarks were inappropriate.

Mr. Holland said that Mr. Sarkozy should not have stigmatized an entire population of ethnic immigrants with his slights.

Now the French government is striking a more conciliatory tone. After remaining silent for almost a week, President Chirac called for firmness in dealing with the rioters, but also for dialogue and respect. He also demanded an inquiry into the Thursday deaths for the two youths.

Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin, a political rival of Mr. Sarkozy, echoed a similar message of justice and firmness. He promised concrete responses to unemployment and other problems facing communities like Clichy-sur-Bois in the coming weeks.

But experts like Dominique Sopo, head of the anti-discrimination group SOS Racism, says words are not enough.

What's needed Mr. Sopo says, are better programs to integrate second and third-generation ethnic immigrant youths into mainstream French society. Mr. Sopo and other analysts also fear the current violence may lead to greater popular support for the far-right National Front party. The party's leader, Jean-Marie Le Pen, placed second in the last presidential elections, in 2002."

Oh wow, amazing! Killing, rioting, looting, car-burning scumbags are called "scum" by Sarkosy. How dare he! That's way too harsh! That's much worse than what the "scum" are actually doing!

What should he call them? Monkees? Savage killing monkees? Barbarian pieces of sheet?

Little bad boys? Silly kids? Little French schoolboys?

Calling them "scum" justifies what they are doing, it makes it ok that they are burning hundreds of cars and buses and buildings.

Calling them "scum" makes the name caller just as bad as the burning, looting, killing scum themselves.

What a load of insincere tolerance crap! Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy didn't call ALL muslim immigrants "scum", he just called rioting, killing, looting, molotov cocktail throwing, handicapped person burning pieces of human garbage scum "scum".

I think he was too gentle with them, too nice , too polite. Ooooo...SCUM, oh my! The outrage!

They're not just "scum", they're "Monkee Scum Pieces of Shit!.

And they should be told that if they don't disperse in 24 hours the army will start gunning them down in masse.

That's what this "SCUM" deserve.

Youngest Terrorism Expert: FrontPage Interview with Ryan Mauro

Everybody should read what this extroardinary young man Ryan Mauro has to say, please spread the word to others...

FrontPage magazine.com :: Secrets of Terror by Jamie Glazov: "Ryan Mauro"

By Jamie Glazov
FrontPageMagazine.com | October 20, 2005

"Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Ryan Mauro, the 19-year-old author of Death to America: The Unreported Battle of Iraq and the youngest hired geopolitical analyst in the country. He is a volunteer analyst for Tactical Defense Concepts and Northeast Intelligence Network and is the owner of WorldThreats.com. He will be speaking at the 2006 Intelligence Summit on his work in open-source intelligence.

FP: Ryan Mauro, welcome to Frontpage Interview.

Mauro: Thank you for having me.

FP: You are quite a young fellow. It is quite exceptional for a 19-year-old to be an expert in geopolitical affairs. What got you involved in your work?

Mauro: Due to a visual disability of mine, I couldn't play sports as a kid. So with my time I read a lot and then around age 11 or 12, I got my first computer, which was around the time of the bombing of Iraq in December 1998. It started my interest in geopolitical affairs, even though my parents were not political. I can remember in 2000 not knowing the candidates involved in the race, but knowing the locations of all the Middle Eastern countries.

FP: I want to talk to you today about what your sources reveal about the Saddam-Al Qaeda connection, WMDs in Iraq under Saddam, and the Syrian-Iranian connection to the terrorism in Iraq. But first, let’s talk about the referendum in Iraq the other day and the high-voter turnout. This is quite a devastating blow to the terrorists isn’t it?

Mauro: This is a disaster for the terrorists. Lots of critics in the mainstream media pointed to the delays in writing the constitution and bickering, but no where else in the Arab world can such bickering occur. And you can bet that the Iraqis and the region as a whole noticed that. ..."

Now go read the rest of the interview, and remember the name: Ryan Mauro.
